The Universities goal was to upgrade their existing outdated and deteriorated Lecture Center lobby. HDG's solutions included renovations infusing visual contrast with new light-colored floor finishes, new LED lighting, upgraded from carpet to new hard surface large format floor tiles. Specially selected acoustical wall system adding a complementing softness to their classic brick.

 

The new energy efficient glass curtain wall wraps about two-thirds of the exterior envelope at the concourse level of the building. This solution also increased natural light into the previously dark space.
